Mike Tyson smiles a lot, but he’s not smiling now. He’s in character, his wide, frequent, kidlike grin replaced with a pursed-lip scowl as devoid of mirth as a funeral procession.
City kids have opportunities their counterparts in towns and rural areas don’t, but seeing farm animals isn’t among them. The Clark County Fair & Rodeo, which runs today through Sunday at the fairgrounds in Logandale, can change that. In fact, the rural feel of the Logandale area — about an hour north of Las Vegas via Interstate 15 and state Route 169 — is one of the fair’s biggest draws.
Kyle Massey, who competed on season 11 of “Dancing with the Stars,” is looking forward to “Dancing with the Stars: Live in Las Vegas” at the Tropicana. The live show will run for 12 weeks, eight shows a week, starting Friday. Celebrity stylist Carson Kressley will host the 80-minute production that will feature such other alums of the TV version as former ‘N Sync star Joey Fatone, Sabrina Bryan of “The Cheetah Girls” and actress Tia Carrere.
