The 12th annual Vegas Uncork’d took over the Strip this past weekend, with more than two dozen events scattered over four days. Here are some highlights:
Vegas Unstripped drew a sold-out crowd to the patio area behind Esther’s Kitchen Saturday night.
Flock and Fowl mixologist Adam Rains blends the Mexican flavors of tequila and Tajin with a double dose of Italian bitterness provided by Aperol and Vecchio. The name, No Tajin in the Machine, if you were wondering, is a warning to handwash the glasses after use, to prevent the spices on the rim from clogging your dishwasher.

Thousands of foodies will descend on Las Vegas on Mother’s Day weekend for Vegas Uncork’d, a collection of 27 high-profile dining events where guests will pay big bucks to rub elbows with celebrity chefs such as Gordon Ramsay, Giada De Laurentiis and Nobu Matsuhisa.
The Cosmopolitan has announced details of its new Block 16 Urban Eatery Bar, a collection of half a dozen food and beverage spots that will open in early fall.
