The overwhelming majority of veterans put on a uniform and did their jobs, nothing more and nothing less. Many did their jobs in outstanding ways and many in mediocre ways — a few were actual heroes.

I drive the valley roads a lot each day and it’s increasingly risky for pedestrians, cyclists and others given the huge number of drivers who disregard traffic laws.
Was it not important enough that it was a senseless killing, that a mother took her kids over in a car just to beat up a young women who called her daughter a name?
It’s difficult for anyone to take our water issue crisis seriously when we read about our impending shortage and possible water rationing then in the same issue of the paper we read of a “new water park” to be added at Town Square.
It’s doubtful that Mr. Trump will have much long-term success on the job front simply by strong-arming chief executives. A more promising approach might be to aggressively pursue a strategy designed to improve the nation’s tax and business climate to make it more attractive for manufacturers to invest here.
It is not easy to hear that you’re acting in that way and to take a step back and realize that your own behaviors are part of the problem. But that is what needs to happen.
People didn’t march just because Donald Trump said things. They were marching for political reasons such as equal pay, abortion, etc.
What goes around will come around. We, the people, will cast these hypocrites back in the gutter where they belong.
If you did not bother to vote, perhaps the following will sink in. First, elections have consequences. And second, your vote does count.
What’s important is they possess great common sense and managerial skills, can act independently, and have requisite knowledge and experience to actually work effectively in their assigned posts.

The articles that I have read about this ESA scam posit some pretty phony reasons for allotting parents money from the state in order for them to send their kids to schools across town.
The Legislature must correct this error now. Even the playing field.
