In response to the Monday Road Warrior column: Once again — or, should I say, as usual — the taxpayers are stuck paying millions in cost overruns for the Interstate 15/Tropicana project. It seems to me that local citizens are continually burdened with bureaucrats who aren’t very good at what they are paid to do.

I understand Mr. Ford wants the governorship and then maybe higher office. But he shouldn’t pander to the well-being of the good people of Las Vegas.
