LETTER: Too much spending has weakened the U.S.

President Eisenhower said, “The Communist objective is to make us spend ourselves into bankruptcy.”
The Democrats intend to make that happen. I don’t blame the president. He doesn’t appear in charge of anything.
But who are his handlers who are seemingly intent on destroying the republic? It would be nice to know.
