Note to Stephen J. Salchenberger (Dec. 26 letter): Indeed, the Trump family has several members who were immigrants. All of them followed the law and are legal, as opposed to those who sneak in and are lawbreakers the moment they step on U.S. soil. Big difference, I think.
I don’t believe she has malicious intentions, but at the very least she’s been thoughtless when considering the ramifications of how the overwhelming majority of her votes affect the very people who elected her.
