Coroner’s office identifies motorcyclist killed in crash

The motorcyclist killed in an early morning crash Monday has been identified by the Clark County coroner’s office as 25-year-old Ruber Baez-Marin of Las Vegas.

According to Las Vegas police, Baez-Marin was eastbound on Sunset Road near Spencer Street about 3:30 a.m. when a 2012 Honda Civic exited a private drive and collided with Baez-Marin’s 2002 Yamaha motorcycle.

Baez-Marin was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Honda suffered no injuries. It was the 32nd traffic related fatality in Las Vegas police jurisdiction this year.
