Gordon Ramsay says he will open 6th Las Vegas restaurant in 2020

Updated November 6, 2019 - 8:25 pm

Famed restaurateur Gordon Ramsay announced Wednesday that he hopes to open his sixth Las Vegas restaurant in 2020.

Ramsay, who also has starred in several television shows, said the restaurant would be called Lucky Cat, and described it as “something super-cool (and) Asian influenced.”

The chef was speaking to a private dining room full of invited guests at his Gordon Ramsay Steak at Paris Las Vegas, marking the restaurant’s seventh anniversary. Near the end of a question-and-answer period, the evening’s host, Sean McAllister, asked about plans for a new restaurant in Las Vegas.

“We have an exciting opportunity, potentially, for some time in 2020, to launch something,” the chef teased. And while he kept the details to a minimum, he said he’s been working on the concept for the past three years.
