Gather, eat, RePete’s: Bar offers fun atmosphere and fare

RePete’s Bar & Grill is a family affair, opened in April by Geri and Pete Kypreos and their son George.

The restaurant at 2460 W. Warm Springs Road is not the family’s first dining venture in Las Vegas. In the 1980s, they owned Pete’s Place on Boulder Highway and Green’s Supper Club in Henderson.

RePete’s is “a centrally located neighborhood place where people can easily meet and enjoy their time together,” George Kypreos says.

The restaurant is open 24/7 and the full menu, except for breakfast dishes from 11 p.m. to 11 a.m., is available anytime. Happy hour is from 3 to 6 p.m. and midnight to 3 a.m. with half-price pizza and appetizers and drink specials in the bar.

Football season specials served in the bar during live college or pro games include a $5 menu with sliders, tacos, sandwiches, nachos and fries. There are football drink specials, too.

Chef Thierry Belin is flexible and will, when possible, serve special dishes on request.

RePete’s pizza features homemade dough with fresh marzano sauce. Burgers are made from top sirloin and served with a choice of fries or Asian coleslaw.

“Whenever possible we roast our turkey daily,” Kypreos noted.

In all, 140 people can be seated, either in the bar with tables for dining or in a nonsmoking dining room.
