Upon entering Sushi Kaya, expect the sushi chefs to greet you. The wait for a table here is rarely too long, and while you wait, you are treated to a relaxed ambience. Whether one is seated at a table, in a booth or at the bar, there is a feeling of authenticity and real Japanese cooking. Specialty rolls start at $12.95. The all-you-can-eat special has a limit of 90 minutes and is $19.95 for lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and $22.95 for dinner from 4 p.m. to 3 a.m. The famous Kaya Roll has avocado, asparagus, spicy tuna and green onion with cilantro-salsa sauce. The Lasagna Roll is a baked California roll with cream cheese. The Shrek Roll is avocado, cucumber, gobo and asparagus with salsa sauce. The all-you-can-eat special also includes unlimited access (with the exception of a few items) to appetizers such as edamame, miso soup, Korean jabchae (stir-fried glass noodles), kimchi fried rice and shrimp tempura.
