Company American Bistro can be snack stop or full dinner option

A group of clubbers kicking off a night out has different dining needs from the romantic couple who wants to elevate dinner to an experience.

Chef de cuisine Marc Zimmerman took that into consideration when designing the menu for Company American Bistro in the Luxor. Whether you want a cheeseburger, a light supper or a six-course meal, Zimmerman’s New American/Pan-Asian style menu offers it.

The menu is based on small bites, or tapas, that are meant to be shared, Zimmerman says. People on their way to LAX nightclub next door can share a few dishes while others who want to spend the evening at the restaurant can design a full meal by choosing from the menu’s four categories: Earth, Sky, Land and Sea.

The dining room, designed like an ultra ski lodge, seats 180 and can come across as somewhat pretentious, Zimmerman says. But in reality, the atmosphere is casual and laid-back.

Reservations are suggested. Open for dinner only Wednesdays and Thursdays 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Fridays and Saturdays 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
