COFFEE BEAN AND TEA LEAF TO RAISE FUNDS TO FIGHT PANCREATIC CANCER

The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf plans to raise funds for the fight against pancreatic cancer by participating in Purple for a Purpose Nov. 21 at the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign, as well as Giving Tuesday Dec. 2.

The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf plans to provide beverages for the Purple for a Purpose lighting ceremony at the sign, set from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. Nov. 21. The sign will be lit in purple lights to honor those who have lost their battle with pancreatic cancer, those currently affected by the disease and those yet to be diagnosed. The public is encouraged to attend and enjoy a free hot chocolate from The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Truck.

The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile is scheduled to be in the Las Vegas Valley Nov. 20-22. A new Wienermobile app for smartphones and tablets is available to let people know where the Wienermobile will be next.

CAPRIOTTI’S LOCATIONS TO HOST FOOD DRIVE FOR RESCUE MISSION

Through Nov. 22, the community can drop off non-perishable food donations in specially marked bins at any Las Vegas Valley Capriotti’s. Guests who donate five or more items in a visit will receive a free small to medium sandwich upsize.

All donations will be sent to the Las Vegas Rescue Mission, 480 W. Bonanza Road.
