Sarah Palin: ‘The First Lady of the Outdoors’?

Whether you love her, loathe her or somehow are still convinced she was created in a “Saturday Night Live” writers’ room by Tina Fey, there’s no denying that Sarah Palin is a force of nature.

While saying the Mama Grizzly is back on TV implies she ever really left, her new series, “Amazing America with Sarah Palin,” debuts at 8 p.m. Thursday on the Sportsman Channel, which, apparently, is a thing that exists.

“Governor Palin will provide viewers with some really fun stories about terrific people and places across Red, Wild and Blue America,” Sportsman Channel CEO Gavin Harvey said in a press release. “With ‘The First Lady of the Outdoors’ at the helm of ‘Amazing America,’ Sportsman Channel is again innovating and defining excellence in outdoor television.”

Sportsman Channel defines Red, Wild and Blue America as that place “where the American Spirit and the Great Outdoors are celebrated in equal measure.”

“Amazing America with Sarah Palin” will share the Sportsman Channel airwaves with such shows as “Bahama Lobster Pirates,” “Pigman: The Series,” “Dead Dog Walkin’ ” and “Kings of Gettin’Em.”

See them all on Cox channels 383 and 1383, DirecTV channel 605, Dish channel 395 and CenturyLink channel 642.

Anyway, here are some sneak peeks at the series:
