More Las Vegans out to prove they ‘Got Talent’
June 9, 2014 - 3:46 pm
“America’s Got Talent” isn’t coming to Las Vegas this season, but that isn’t stopping Las Vegans from going to “America’s Got Talent.”
Bob Markworth and Tomas De la Cruz will take part in the next episode of “AGT” (8 p.m. Tuesday, KSNV-TV, Channel 3).
They join fellow Las Vegans Rokardy Rodriguez and his balancing act and 8-year-old Dominic Evans and his triplet card-throwing act among contestants during the first three weeks of the variety show’s season.
Markworth, who’s been a presence on TV since at least the days of “Circus of the Stars,” and his assistant, Mayana, will perform an archery feat.
De la Cruz, who works under the name Smoothini the Ghetto Houdini, bills himself as the world’s only hip-hop improv comedy magician.
