Sam Boyd hosts U2 on Oct. 23

For U2 fans, it’s official. The band will bring its 360? tour to Sam Boyd Stadium on Oct. 23.

Tickets are scheduled to go on sale at 10 a.m. April 18, and are expected to be available through www.UNLVtickets.com, www. livenation.com or by calling (877) 522-8499. Ticket prices and further details were not available Tuesday afternoon.

Since the world tour was announced March 9, more than 2.5 million tickets have been sold in North America and Europe, according to tour promoters Live Nation.

It will be U2’s first Las Vegas concert since the band played the MGM Grand Garden on Nov. 4 and 5, 2005.
