Las Vegas Rocks Cafe celebrates city

Entertainer turned restaurateur Tony Sacca wasn’t worried about Neonopolis when opening Las Vegas Rocks Cafe there last year.

The struggling entertainment venue at 450 Fremont St. — opened in 2002 — was built before its time, Sacca says. “Now, on Fremont Street it’s like Disneyland.”

Sacca hopes the cafe’s interactive features, memorabilia display — from his personal collection — and playful menu will fit right in.

Sacca teamed up with friend and restaurateur Josette LeBlond for the cafe, which is named after one of his songs.

The dining room seats 133. There’s a stage for entertainers, a DJ area and a boutique that sells logo items.

The cafe is open Mondays through Thursdays, 11 a.m.-3 p.m., and 5-11 p.m. for dinner. Fridays through Sundays, the cafe is open 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Reservations are not required.
