The Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health, 888 W. The Golden Nugget, 129 Fremont St., plans to host its sixth annual Wine Fest April 4-6.

At 6 p.m. April 4, Wine Dinner Under the Stars: Chile Exposed is planned poolside with master sommelier Larry Stone and brand ambassador Meaghan Becker. The dinner will feature wines from Chile’s Neyen, Primus and Ritual regions, with South American cuisine pairings from executive chefs Richard Hawthorne and Mark Sherline. Tickets are $125.

BELLAGIO ANNOUNCES CULINARY CLASSROOM SCHEDULE FOR 2014

The Executive Chef’s Culinary Classroom at the Bellagio, 3600 Las Vegas Blvd. South, has announced its schedule for 2014. The educational series includes interactive cooking classes led by executive chef Edmund Wong and his team. Each two-hour class is held in Tuscany Kitchen, a state-of-the-art demonstration kitchen. SOCIAL HOUSE PLANS SPECIALS FOR NCAA BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT

Social House inside The Shops at Crystals at CityCenter, 3720 Las Vegas Blvd. South, plans to offer The Elite Ate menu with game day-inspired cuisine and cocktails for the NCAA basketball tournament.

BEN & JERRY’S ANNOUNCES FREE CONE DAY APRIL 8

Ben & Jerry’s plans to enlist the help of celebrity ice cream scoopers to raise funds for St. Jude’s Ranch for Children through its Free Cone Day, April 8.

From noon to 8 p.m., small cones will be free with no purchase necessary. However, patrons are encouraged to make a donation. Celebrity scoopers set to participate include comedy hypnotist Marc Savard, Angel Porrino and Paul Matthew Lopez (“Fat Frank”) of “Absinthe” and Josh Strickland and Tara Pasha of “VEGAS! The Show.”

UNLVINO TO CELEBRATE 40 YEARS APRIL 9-12

UNLVino is scheduled for April 9-12, the wine event’s 40th anniversary. The kickoff event, Sip & Savor at Spago, is set for 7 p.m. April 9, with VIP entrance at 6 p.m. The fundraiser will be hosted by chef Wolfgang Puck and will feature cuisine from his six Las Vegas restaurants. COMME CA TO PRESENT BRASSERIE, BURGERS AND OYSTERS SERIES

Comme Ca by David Myers inside The Cosmopolitan, 3708 Las Vegas Blvd. South, plans to launched a new Brasserie, Burgers and Oysters outdoor dining series from 5:30 to 8 p.m. April 9.

The series is a taken on traditional backyard barbecue, featuring a market-driven menu inspired by Parisian bistros and the famed Comme Ca Burger, served on the balcony patio. Chefs will offer three rotating, made-to-order burger specials on the patio’s grill. All burgers will be paired with a signature 18A cocktail or two beers for $19. A selection of tableside hand-shucked oysters will be available for $1.25 each. Handcrafted cocktails and draft beers will be served at the patio bar.

PROJECT DINNER TABLE’S NEW SEASON TO START APRIL 12

Project Dinner Table plans to begin its fifth season April 12 at Downtown3rd, on Third Street between Stewart and Ogden avenues, featuring cuisine by Downtown Grand chefs Charles Wilson and Todd Harrington.

HOUSE OF BLUES PLANS EASTER, MOTHER’S DAY GOSPEL BRUNCHES

The House of Blues at Mandalay Bay, 3950 Las Vegas Blvd. South, plans to host an Easter-themed Kirk Franklin’s Gospel Brunch on April 20, with seatings at 9 a.m., noon and 3 p.m. Children will receive a basket with Easter eggs filled with prizes and treats, and the Easter Bunny is set to make an appearance for photos. A raffle is planned for upcoming House of Blues performances.

A Mother’s Day brunch is planned for May 11. Each mother and grandmother will receive flowers and hear special songs dedicated to them.

The 2014 Great Vegas Festival of Beer is planned from 4 to 8 p.m. (early entry and VIP entry at 3 p.m.) April 26 in the Fremont East Entertainment District in downtown Las Vegas.

Motley Brews plans to expand the festival to accommodate the local beer scene and feature more than 250 brews from more than 80 breweries. A new focus will be on beer-inspired culinary menus, mixology, educational elements, interactive exhibits and live music.
