LETTER: Nevadans showing how democracy works

Nevada is the first state that I know of that will finally get it right regarding voter ID and abortion. Neither the Supreme Court nor the president should be involved in these decisions. It should be up to the people of each state. If the majority vote for either one of these initiatives, or both, then this would be the will of the people. This is true democracy at work.
