Some of Las Vegas’s best chefs are once again stepping out of their kitchens and into food trucks for the second season of “Late Nite Chef Fight” (7 p.m. Thursday, FYI).
Hosted by Laila Ali and Vic “Vegas” Moea, executive chef at Cafe At Sun City Anthem, the competition series takes local chefs out of their comfort zones and has them scramble for ways to cook up delicious dishes using exotic, surprise ingredients inside trucks they’ve never set foot in.
Filmed outdoors in front of an audience with the neon of the Strip as a backdrop, “Late Nite Chef Fight” features three fast-paced rounds and a prize unique to TV: pride. In addition to bragging rights, the winning chef gets to sit back and enjoy a meal cooked by the loser.
