Vietnam Veterans to hold craft fair on Saturday

The Vietnam Veterans of Nevada Foundation will hold its first spring craft fair fundraiser from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

The craft fair, at 6424 W. Cheyenne Ave., is aimed at furthering the foundation’s mission “to aid and assist in the betterment of the lives of Vietnam veterans and their families” in Nevada.

Handcrafted items and creations by artisans will be available for sale, according to Joni Giancola, a Vietnam-era Army veteran who is the foundation’s secretary.

“This is our first fundraising event as a (nonprofit) 501c3 in process,” she wrote in an email.
