Share your hamburger recipes with the RJ

Burgers, which used to be simple and kind of boring, have taken off in recent years with even top-rated chefs nationwide tinkering with them. They’ve experimented with the balance of meats, cuts and seasonings in the patty and dreamed up some innovative toppings. And their adventurous burgers have inspired home cooks to do the same.

With the approach of Memorial Day, the traditional beginning of the summer grilling season, we’re asking readers to share their burger secrets — including vegan and vegetarian preparations. Tell us what you put in them, how you cook them and what you put on them. We’ll draw a name from entries received for a $100 gift card.

Email your recipes by May 10, with Burgers in the subject line, to hrinella@reviewjournal.com, fax them to 702-383-4676 or mail to Heidi Knapp Rinella, c/o Las Vegas Review-Journal, P.O. Box 70, Las Vegas, NV 89101.
