Vegas Stripped: The Black Widow of the fight world — VIDEO

Lisa King was on the cusp of women breaking into the fight world in the mid-2000s. She’s a World-Class Champion full-contact Muay Thai fighter — a combat sport out of Thailand that focuses on using the entire body to fight.

Although her day job is marketing in the healthcare industry, she quickly became sought after for promoting fights. She then became an announcer and commentator. She hasn’t fought in the ring since 2009, but has closely been involved in everything the fight world has to offer.

King has been featured on ESPN’s “I’d Do Anything,” NBC’s “TODAY Show,” the theatrical motion picture “Ring Girls,” Vicious Vixens Muay Thai Instructional DVD Series and Oxygen Network’s 2006 TV-movie “Fight Girls.” Oxygen Network invited her back as a trainer and mentor to 10 aspiring female fighters for the second 8-week season of Fight Girls in 2007.
