Wind gusts up to 30 mph to blow across Las Vegas Valley

Updated January 25, 2018 - 10:35 pm

The Las Vegas Valley should expect a warming trend with the start of the new week, according to the National Weather Service.

Highs are forecast for 57 degrees Friday and 60 degrees Saturday, the weather service said. After that, the warm-up begins.

Highs will climb to 68 degrees on Sunday, 69 on Monday and 71 on Tuesday, meteorologist Clay Morgan said. He said not to expect any significant winds or precipitation during that time frame.

“It looks pretty doggone quiet,” Morgan said.

The typical high for this time of year is 60 degrees, he said.

Lows are expected to remain about 40 through Saturday before reaching the mid-40s as the new week begins.
