Sunny, dry conditions in the Las Vegas Valley this weekend

The Las Vegas Valley is in for a few dry and sunny days before colder weather hits in the second half of the coming week, according to the National Weather Service.

Saturday reached a high of 84 degrees, just below the average high of 86 for the date, according to the weather service. Sunday’s high should be exactly average at 86 degrees.

Light winds are expected through the middle of the week. Highs are expected to rise slightly to 87 on Monday, 91 on Tuesday and 88 on Wednesday, the weather service said.

“There will not be too much change until about Wednesday,” meteorologist John Adair said.

Temperatures are expected to drop by about 10 degrees for the second half of next week, he said. Overnight lows will be in the low 60s, Adair added.
