The Mountain West Conference and Las Vegas-area charity Goodie Two Shoes teamed up to host a shoe and apparel giveaway to 500 local underserved elementary school children. The Rebels fell just short of upsetting No. 4 San Diego State on Sunday afternoon, losing 71-67. The loss came on the same day as the tragic passing of Lakers legend Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna, as well as seven other passengers aboard the helicopter that crashed in Calabasas, California.
