Researchers are seeking ‘citizen scientists’ to help study Joshua trees. The volunteers will help set up and monitor scientific plots on the ground and comb through satellite images to map Joshua trees across the Mojave Desert. The data will help researchers understand how — or if — the species will weather climate change.
