He was in pain while taping an episode of “The Ed Bernstein Show” He spent three days at Summerlin Hospital Medical Center and canceled his scheduled performances at Red Rock Resort. “The bottom line is, I was very excited to come here, especially after what Vegas has been through, to do my job and make people laugh … I feel terrible about it, but I’m not ready to get back onstage,” Clay said.

On Monday, a pac chaired by Sen. Majority Leader Michael Roberson filed an initiative to amend Nevada’s constitution to prevent sanctuary cities. The initiative would prevent Nevada elected officials from enacting a law that “prohibits, limits or discourages cooperation” with the enforcement of U.S. immigration laws. Sanctuary cities—or in California’s case, a sanctuary state—refuse to tell federal immigration authorities when they have arrested or are about to release an illegal immigrant.

CCSD Trustee Kevin Child vowed to continue visiting CCSD schools, despite Superintendent Pat Skorkowsky’s memo banning him from CCSD facilities. He said he had visited schools since the memo came out without incident.
