LeBron heckler crosses line, altercation erupts

NBA superstar LeBron James, his wife, Savannah, and daughter Zhuri were at Liberty High School to watch Bronny James in action Wednesday night. But an unruly fan wearing a Michael Jordan Chicago Bulls jersey heckled the newest Los Angeles Laker. The man screamed at event security with LeBron and his family about 150 feet away. The man had to be restrained, triggering a brief altercation with security. James and his family were escorted out a side door along with Bronny’s team, the North Coast Blue Chips. Event officials canceled the game between the Blue Chips and Nike Meanstreets.

Team USA has announced its official roster. USA managing director Jerry Colangelo announced the team. The team has called Las Vegas home since 2006 LeBron James will be back in Las Vegas for minicamp July 25-27. Look for other players such as Kevin Durant to practice at Mendenhall Center. The Spurs’ Gregg Popovich takes over as the new coach . Chris Paul and Team USA have won the past three Olympic golds.

Cleveland Cavalier’s Coach Tyronn Lue to Temporarily Step Away from Coaching The team announced the news on Monday morning, citing health issues as the reason for the leave of absence. After many conversations with our doctors and [General Manager Koby Altman] and much thought given to what is best for the team and my health… …I need to step back from coaching for the time being and focus on trying to establish a stronger and healthier foundation from which to coach for the rest of the season. According to TNT’s David Aldridge, Lue only plans to be gone from the team for a week. Assistant coach Larry Drew will coach in his stead. This is Lue’s third season in charge of the team, with each of the previous two seasons resulting in a trip to the NBA Finals.
