The Huntridge Theater became a musical venue in 1992 and was a staging ground for groups on the rise and alternative superstars, from Smashing Pumpkins to Sarah McLachlan, the Deftones, Nine Inch Nails, Green Day and Fugazi. The Huntridge Theatre in Las Vegas could be sold

The Huntridge Theatre, which opened in 1944 and was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993, could be sold. Las Vegas City Attorney Brad Jerbic mentioned a possible deal was in the works at a City Council meeting on Oct. 16, 2019. (Heidi Fang/Las Vegas Review-Journal)
