The Raiders signed linebacker Ukeme Eligwe from the Jets’ practice squad. Wide receiver Hunter Renfrow has been nursing a rib injury since the Raiders’ loss to the Jets but he looks ready to play Sunday against the Chargers. With Josh Jacobs out this week, newly signed running back Rod Smith has a chance to join the rotation.

Like the 0-9 Bengals last week, the Raiders can’t overlook the 3-7 Jets who are starting to gather momentum, winning their last two games. The Jets are getting healthy and have talented players such as safety Jamal Adams and running back Le’Veon Bell making them a dangerous team that could play spoiler to the Raiders playoff hopes.
The Raiders are looking to clean up their penalties in all three phases of the game and not negate the plays that go for big yardage while they fight for the right to play in the postseason.
The focus this week for the Raiders is making sure not to over look the win-less Cincinnati Bengals for this Sunday’s game. Despite the Bengals record, they do have impressive players.
With the Bengals being last in the NFL in terms of run defense and record, the Raiders are looking to capitalize on rookie running back Josh Jacobs already impressive season.
