Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter to Return for ‘Bill & Ted 3’ More than 25 years after the last installment, Reeves and Winter will be back playing the titular characters in ‘Bill & Ted Face the Music’. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film was written by the original creators, Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon, with Dean Parisot pegged to direct the film. We couldn’t be more excited to get the whole band back together again. Chris and Ed wrote an amazing script, and with Dean at the helm we’ve got a dream team! The film has been in the works for years, with both Reeves and Winter saying repeatedly that they would like to reprise their roles as Ted and Bill respectively. ‘Bill & Ted Face the Music’ is currently in preproduction and does not have a release date yet.

The Anthony and Joe Russo directed film has only been in theaters for eight days since its Apr. 27 release, and it’s already raked in $905.1 million at the worldwide box office, including $338.4 million in North America. It will reach the milestone faster than ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens,’ which took 12 days to cross over the $1 billion threshold. ‘Infinity War’ is the 34th film to cross $1 billion at the global box office, not accounting for inflation.
‘The Sopranos’ Prequel Film Confirmed Deadline reports that New Line has purchased Chase and Lawrence Konner’s screenplay for their “Sopranos” prequel film. The working title for the prequel is “The Many Saints of Newark.” Chase created the HBO series, which ran for six seasons, and Konner served as a writer. “The Many Saints of Newark” is set during the 1960s riots in the New Jersey city between the African-American and Italian communities. Multiple characters from the series, albeit younger versions, are expected to star in the film. The Sopranos won 21 Primetime Emmy Awards and five Golden Globe Awards during its run.
