The next major phase of the multiyear Interstate 15-Tropicana Avenue project will begin Wednesday, with major traffic implications involved, including a full closure of I-15 over the weekend.
Dropicana 2.0 is scheduled to begin next month, and like the first version, major traffic implications will affect motorists’ commutes in the Las Vegas resort corridor.
First road impacts will be on I-15 Southbound on Wednesday and again on March 23, between Harmon ave and Flamingo rd.
Drivers beware, “Dropicana” is about to impact Interstate 15 southbound to Tropicana Avenue off-ramps for up to 18 months. Tuesday night marks the start of “Dropicana,” part of the demolition of the Tropicana bridge tied to the $305 million I-15-Tropicana Interchange project.
