Nevada death row inmate Scott Dozier is dead. Dozier’s death ends his legal odyssey, which began in 2007 when he was convicted in the 2002 murder of Jeremiah Miller, but does little to clarify what’s next for Nevada’s death penalty.
Scott Dozier was set to be executed July 11, 2018, at the Ely State Prison. Judge Elizabeth Gonzalez delayed the execution.
A drug manufacturer filed suit Tuesday in an effort to stop this week’s execution of convicted murderer Scott Dozier. Dozier was sentenced to die in 2007 for the slaying of Jeremiah Miller.
With less than a week before his scheduled execution, Scott Dozier, who was convicted of murdering 22-year-old Jeremiah Miller in 2002, remains steadfast in his resolve to be put to death for his crimes.
