A recent cyberattack is affecting operations at Findlay Automotive in Nevada and other western states.
Caesars Entertainment has notified the attorney general’s office of the state of Maine about the cyberattack. the notification says more than 41,000 Maine residents were affected by the attack. the attackers acquired names, driver’s license numbers, and other personal info of the residents.
One of the organizations allegedly claiming responsibility for a cyberattack on MGM said it would unleash ransomware on company computer systems if a deal is not reached.
The driver’s license and Social Security numbers “for a significant number of members” of the Caesars Rewards program were copied by an “unauthorized actor,” Caesars Entertainment said in a report.
