Bellagio reopened its doors Thursday morning following the 78-day shutdown. Acting MGM Resorts CEO Bill Hornbuckle greeted the first guests as they walked through the doors.

The Fountains at Bellagio water show is being suspended indefinitely. It is the first such halt in performances, other than for maintenance, in the attraction’s 21-year history.
An MGM Resorts International spokeswoman said Tuesday the show would be halted temporarily and until further notice. The water show, known to halt traffic on the Strip because of onlookers, typically runs 30 minutes in the afternoons and early evenings, and every 15 minutes from 8 pm to midnight.
