A pedestrian was hospitalized Monday morning after being hit by a pickup on East Sahara. Police said “a subject” was crossing the street and was struck by a vehicle traveling westbound on Sahara at Commercial Center. Westbound Sahara remained closed. Crime scene tape blocked off the area and a red pickup sat next to debris and a pair of shoes in front of a bus stop. Police did not have any information on the pedestrian’s condition. Officers do not think the driver was impaired.
Police are investigating a Thursday morning crash involving a pedestrian and a vehicle in the east valley. The crash occurred around 5:30 a.m. and forced the closure of the intersection at Boulder Highway and Tropicana Avenue. Police said the intersection would be closed for “quite some time.”
A pedestrian has been hospitalized after being struck by a sports utility vehicle early Tuesday morning. The man suffered serious injuries from the crash, which was reported just after 5 a.m. on Craig Road near Puebla Street. The driver of the SUV remained on the scene and was cooperating with police. He did not appear to be impaired, police said.
Las Vegas police are investigating a Tuesday morning injury crash involving a man in his 20s and a Toyota sedan. The crash was reported at 4:45 a.m. at the intersection of Desert Inn Road and Valley View Boulevard.
Northbound Valley View is blocked. The man was taken to the hospital. The driver of the Toyota is not suspected of impairment.
