The National Weather Service issued an excessive heat warning this week for the Las Vegas Valley, starting at 11 a.m. Wednesday and lasting until 11 p.m. July 8.
Highs are expected to hit 110-degrees on Thursday as the excessive heat warning remains in effect.
A couple of isolated showers are expected on Saturday and temps rise to the 90s for Mother’s day.
Thursday will be a windy day with temperatures in the high 70s.
A wind advisory will remain in effect from 1:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon to 1:00 a.m. Friday.
