Engelland, along with Golden Knights teammates Jon Merrill and Nick Holden, will take part in the sixth annual Las Vegas Firefighters Youth Hockey charity game at 5 p.m. Saturday at City National Arena.

The club is dropping money from above Cashman Field as part of the festivities surrounding its match with LA Galaxy II on Sept. 8, and 200 fans will have a chance to go after it.
After using 22 lineup combinations in their first 22 games the Lights started the same 11 in their two games last week.

General manager George McPhee announced Tuesday that the Fort Wayne Komets are now the ECHL affiliate of the Knights. The team will now be able to send players to and from the Komets in Fort Wayne, Indiana next season.

The 35-year-old midfielder was already involved in the city’s soccer scene before joining the Lights thanks to his offseason training sessions with Japanese kids.
Forward Juan Carlos Garcia, midfielder Matt Thomas and defender Miguel Garduno all played in the team’s 1-0 win against Rio Grande Valley FC on Saturday.
The 20-year-old made seven appearances and five starts since joining the Lights on June 22.
The captain scored on a header in the 81st minute to help the Lights defeat Rio Grande Valley FC in front of 6,752 fans at Cashman Field on Saturday.
