Three UNLV players invited to NFL scouting combine

Three UNLV players have been invited to the NFL scouting combine, an indication all have a good chance to be drafted.

Linebacker Jason Beauchamp, offensive lineman Joe Hawley and wide receiver Ryan Wolfe were invited to the combine, which is Feb. 24 to March 2 in Indianapolis.

Wolfe is still recovering from a broken left foot sustained in November, but he said he will attend the combine even if he can’t participate fully.

"I for sure will do all the interviews, the body fat test and the bench (press), and any more than that will be a plus," Wolfe said.

He then would plan to do other drills requested by NFL scouts at UNLV’s pro day, which has not been scheduled.

Wolfe said he expected to be fully healed by pro day.

"As of right now, I’m progressing slowly, and I’m in no pain," he said. "Hopefully, things will come together by then."

Wolfe, who has 283 catches, is the all-time leading receiver at UNLV and in the Mountain West Conference.
