Terry gets selected

When the UNLV basketball team takes the floor for the first time Tuesday night, for an exhibition game against Washburn, the most notable name missing from last year’s team will be Curtis Terry.

The former walk-on wrapped up his collegiate career by leading the Rebels to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

The improvement he made in his years in a Rebel uniform was recognized by the Los Angeles D-Fenders, who selected him in the fourth round of Friday night’s NBA D-League draft.
