Rebels bound for Hawaii

Hawaii likes to end its regular season with an early December home game against an opponent outside the Western Athletic Conference, so the Warriors moved their 2010 meeting with UNLV from Sept. 25 to Dec. 4.

The Warriors hosted Cincinnati (2008), Washington (2007), Oregon State (2006), San Diego State (2005) and Michigan State (2004) in the most recent December matchups. In 2000, UNLV went to Hawaii in early December and won 34-32 to secure a spot in the Las Vegas Bowl, the Rebels’ most recent postseason appearance.

Also, UNLV’s home-and-home series with Idaho is scheduled for 2016 in Las Vegas and 2017 in Moscow.

Alison Lee is in a precarious spot in her quest to play in Paris this summer. Collin Morikawa, Allisen Corpuz and Rose Zhang also have work to do to get there.
