UNLV women’s tennis players Josifoska, Batta to play in main draw of ITA All-American tourney

UNLV women’s tennis player Aleksandra Josifoska earned a spot in the main draw at the ITA All-American Championships in Pacific Palisades, Calif. Josifoska finished a 3-0 run in qualifying with a 6-3, 6-1 rout of Yale’s Hanna Yu on Wednesday.

Josifoska will join teammate Lucia Batta, who previously earned one of 24 automatic bids into the main draw.

■ MEN’S TENNIS - At Tulsa, Okla., UNLV’s doubles pair of Ace Matias and Bernard Schoeman lost 8-5 to North Florida’s Moritz Buerchner and Norbert Nemcsek in the final round of qualifying at the ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa, Okla.
