UNLV swimming relay sets record, finishes 18th at NCAAs

The UNLV 400 medley relay set a school record of 3 minutes, 36.35 seconds, to finish 18th at the NCAA women’s swimming and diving championships Thursday at Indianapolis.

Carmen Robb’s leadoff backstroke leg broke her own school record of 52.78. She was joined by Nakayla Chan, Katelyne Herrington and Rachel Dixon on the relay, which broke the mark set at February’s Mountain West championships.

The meet continues through Saturday.
