UNLV golfer Finkelstein wins Mountain West honors

UNLV senior Dana Finkelstein was named the Mountain West women’s golfer of the month on Wednesday.
Finkelstein won the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown this week with a 9-under 207 (67-73-65), the lowest tournament score of her career. She finished second earlier this month at the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational in Austin, Texas.
She is ranked second in the country, according to the GolfStat Rankings released ednesday. She leads the conference with a 70.75 stroke average.
