UNLV baseball raises record to 16-3 with rally

Neither team scored again until the Rebels (16-3) pushed across the winning run in the 11th. Higa reached on an error and advanced to second, moved to third on Scott Ryan’s flyout to center field and came home on Hunter Beaty’s flyout to left.

UNLV took a 2-0 first-inning lead on Trevor Kirk’s RBI single and Roundy’s RBI flyout. After giving up three runs in the third inning and two in the fourth, UNLV held the Crusaders (1-14) scoreless the rest of the way to post its fifth straight victory.
