UNLV’s Dana Finkelstein, a sophomore from Chandler, Ariz., was named Mountain West women’s golfer of the week on Wednesday. She tied for eighth out of 83 golfers at the Farms Invitational in Rancho Sante Fe, Calif., this week and leads all conference golfers this season with a 74.48 stroke average.
The UNLV women’s golf team shot 26-over-par 314 on Tuesday to place fifth in the 15-team Farms Invitational in San Diego. The Rebels had a three-round total of 50-over 914, with Southern California winning at 11-over 875.
