Freshman Therese Koelbaek carded a third straight 1-under 71 to finish at 3-under 213, tied for fifth individually. That helped UNLV post a 9-over 873 total, four shots out of third place and 14 behind Washington State and Brigham Young, who tied for first at 5-under 859.

Oregon’s Cathryn Bristow shot 2-under 70 in the final round to take medalist honors with an 8-under 208 total. Texas Tech’s Ulrika van Niekirk shot 69 to finish second at 210.

• WOMEN’S TENNIS — UNLV, ranked 42nd, lost to No. 16 Florida State 7-0 at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.

The Seminoles took two of three doubles matches for the first point, then swept the singles, though the Rebels (8-4) pushed Florida State to three sets in three matches.

Elena Gantcheva, ranked 28th, lost the first set to No. 73 Lauren Macfarlane 7-6, came back to win the second set 4-6, but lost a super-tiebreaker 10-7 at No. 1 singles.

UNLV’s Elliot Wronski, ranked 93rd, knocked off No. 26 Ivan Bjelica 4-6, 6-1, 7-6 (2) at No. 1 singles.
