No Rebels in combine
No UNLV players were selected to the NFL Scouting Combine, which is Feb. 18 to 24 in Indianapolis. The combine is for players likely to be drafted.
UNLV has had at least one player drafted seven of the past 10 years. But just because no was was invited to the combine this year doesn’t mean no Rebel will be drafted.
Tailback Frank Summers impressed at the Texas vs. The Nation all-star game on Saturday. He won the starting job with a strong week of practices, and in the game caught four passes for 55 yards, including a 19-yard touchdown. Summers ran just once, gaining three yards.
