Clayton to undergo precautionary MRI

UNLV quarterback Omar Clayton will have an MRI on his right knee as a precaution, but coach Mike Sanford was optimistic he would be OK.
Sanford said Clayton’s knee didn’t have any obvious damage, and there was little swelling. Clayton left Saturday’s 23-21 loss to Oregon State because his knee stiffened in the third quarter.
Sanford said the MRI hasn’t been scheduled yet.
