UNLV sweeps Central Michigan in baseball

The UNLV baseball team swept Central Michigan on Saturday, winning 5-2 and 11-8 at Wilson Field.

In the first game, junior right-hander John Richy pitched 7 1/3 innings of two-hit ball with seven strikeouts for the Rebels (3-0).

In the second game, UNLV led 7-0 after six innings, but Central Michigan scored eight runs in the seventh to take the lead. The Rebels answered with four runs in the bottom of the inning.

UNLV’s Morgan Stotts went 5-for-9 with four RBIs in the two games.
